Welcome to St. Brendan School,
I am excited to introduce myself as the Principal of St. Brendan School. I have been in the field of education for many years; working as teacher, coach, guidance counselor and administrator in grades kindergarten through high school. My administrative experience spans 20 years at both the assistant principal and principal levels. Now I have the pleasure of sharing my educational experience and knowledge within a school that consistently demonstrates educational excellence and lives its core beliefs every day -- Saint Brendan School.
I am grateful for the unique opportunity I have here at St. Brendan to meet all of the students, to get to know them on a personal level and to assist, guide and support them educationally and spiritually. Additionally, I am blessed to work alongside our dedicated teachers and support staff who work so hard to provide our students with the assistance and encouragement they need to grow as individuals. Our numerous resources such as blended learning, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and technological tools set the stage for St. Brendan's creative and challenging learning environment.
Along with teachers, research also indicates that parental support and involvement in both elementary school education and outside activities is paramount to students' academic achievement and growth in their faith formation. This partnership is vital, and here at St. Brendan it is of the utmost importance. Parents are critical participants in the overall education process and your time and talents are always needed, and most certainly welcomed.
There is no doubt that St. Brendan School is a very special school with wonderfully hard-working students and supportive parents. The children here receive individualized, faith-based instruction in a safe and respectful learning environment. There is a wonderful sense of community and I am humbled every day to have the opportunity to work within this exceptional environment.
If you have not already, I invite you to please come and take a personal look at St. Brendan School. You will see, first hand, what it means to secure your child's future.
Yours in faith,
Robert M. Mitchell
